Retour sur la journée « Egalité et Pouvoir d’agir »

Cette journée organisée par les fédérations départementales d’Ile-de-France, avait pour objectif de tester différents outils visant à aborder cette thématique, et plus particulièrement la question des privilèges, au sein des centres sociaux.
Le déroulé de la journée était le suivant :

• Matinée : Rapide présentation de ce que sont les privilèges puis constitution de 4 groupes ; chacun des 4 groupes a pu tester les 4 méthodes (détail ci-dessous)
• Après-midi : Visionnage de quelques vidéos sur le sujet des discriminations et des privilèges, puis travail approfondi sur un des 4 outils au choix

Concernant la notion de « privilèges » et la définition qui en a été donnée, deux aspects primordiaux ont été soulevés : Un privilège est un pouvoir et/ou une immunité particulière que l’on détient sans avoir fait d’effort pour l’obtenir, qui nous apporte des avantages et dont nous n’avons pas forcément conscience. Avec cette définition, l’idée est de limiter les risques de jalousie/défiance/culpabilité, et bien de favoriser la conscientisation et d’ouvrir des perspectives. Pour les privilèges en général, une petite vidéo (en anglais) qui a été diffusée l’après-midi et qui a beaucoup plu. 

Les 4 « jeux » ont été les suivants :

• Le bar des privilèges : Prévu normalement pour des groupes de 6 à 8 personnes. A tour de rôle, tout le monde tire un petit papier « privilège » et le lit à voix haute. Chacun.e des personnes qui « bénéficie » de ce privilège, boit un shot (en l’occurrence de l’eau dans notre cas) et les personnes sont invitées à échanger sur ce privilège. Les verres, une fois bus, sont retournés par la personne devant elle. A l’issue d’un certain nombre de tours, un décompte du nombre de verres bus est effectué par chaque participant.e afin de prendre conscience de sa situation en termes de privilèges. Tu trouveras ici la vidéo explicative de cet outil créé par des québécois (et le site les brutes est une ressource intéressante en général sur cette question). 

• La marche des privilèges : Le groupe de participants se positionne épaule contre épaule. Un.e animateur.rice externe énonce là aussi un par un différents privilèges. A chaque fois qu’une personne est concernée par un privilège, elle fait un pas en avant. A l’issue d’un certain nombre d’énoncés, les positions se figent et les gens sont invités à échanger sur leur ressenti et les éléments qui les ont le plus marqués. Cette visualisation permet de reprendre le principe d’une course en montrant le fait que certaines personnes partent avec un temps d’avance sur d’autres. Il existe plusieurs variantes de ce jeu. Pour moins de « violence » psychologique, les participant.es peuvent se positionner en cercle, faire un pas en avant en cas de privilèges puis revenir à leur place. Il peut également y avoir des variantes ou les personnes reculent si elles se reconnaissent dans certains énoncés. Le débrief, temps primordial, se déroule à la fin du jeu uniquement.

• Le jeu des privilèges : Création des fédés pour cet événement. 5 tas de cartes répartis par thème sont constitués (genre et orientation sexuelle ; couleur de peau, origine et religion ; santé ; classe sociale et multithèmes). A tour de rôle chaque personne (ou chaque binôme, cela peut fonctionner aussi), tire une carte dans le tas de son choix et l’énonce à voix haute. Si la personne ou le binôme se reconnait dans son privilège, son pion est avancé sur le plateau de jeu. A l’issue, un débrief est également à mettre en place. L’avantage de ce jeu à mon sens est de symboliser les avancées par des jetons, la visualisation est donc moins dure.

Exemple de privilèges pour ces 3 jeux : « je n’ai pas besoin de réfléchir à ma manière de m’habiller le matin par peur du regard des autres », « on n’a jamais ri de mon accent », « je n’ai pas eu à travailler pendant mes études », « je peux prendre les transports en commun sans avoir à réfléchir si ceux-ci sont adaptés à ma situation ou non », « j’ai toujours mangé à ma faim »…

• Le Monopoly des privilèges : Il se joue comme un Monopoly classique… ou presque. Le banquier n’est pas un joueur, mais il a le rôle d’animateur. A la différence du Monopoly classique, tout le monde ne part pas avec les mêmes chances. Tu trouveras un exemple de règles en pièces jointes, mais celles-ci peuvent être adaptés en fonction du souhait de l’animateur de mettre plus ou moins certains points saillants en avant. Globalement, quand nous avons joué l’idée était la suivante et se basait sur les situations dans la vie réelle de chacun des joueurs « Les femmes partent avec moins d’argent, les locataires partent avec moins d’argent et ne peuvent acheter des maisons que sur 2 des quatre côtés du plateau, les personnes avec un handicap physique ne peuvent acheter les gares, les non blancs doivent obligatoirement laisser passer 3 tours avant de pouvoir sortir de prison…).
